TRANSTRONIC – ANGLE, DEPTH MEASUREMENT, LOGGING AND NAVIGATION SYSTEMS

Transtronic AB was founded in Sweden in 1972. Transtronic’s angle, depth measurement and logging instruments have a proven track record for over 60 years in terms of drilling accuracy, improved productivity, low maintenance and cost-effective solutions in Australia and around the world.

Transtronic’s range of CMI (CAN Module Instrument) instruments for Angle and Depth Measurement and Display, as well as the latest CMX range for the Logging and Display of Angles, Depth and a wide range of MWD (Measure While Drilling) parameters, are available to cover the majority of drilling applications in both surface and underground mines.

The CMI and CMX are modular systems that allow for the interchangeability of common components with other CMI/CMX systems, the ability to add extra sensors and features as required and the flexibility to customise systems to suit specific applications.

Local support for Transtronic instruments is available in terms of installation, training, spare parts and repairs to malfunctioning components through Ostaline in Sydney and our resellers in Perth and Kalgoorlie.

In a strategic alliance with Position Partners, Transtronic’s CMI and CMX systems can be upgraded to a Carlson GNSS Drill Hole Navigation System (please enquire).
