Transtronic AB was founded in Sweden in 1972. Transtronic’s angle, depth measurement and logging instruments have a proven track record for over 60 years in terms of drilling accuracy, improved productivity, ruggedness, low maintenance and cost-effectiveness in Australia and around the world.

Transtronic’s range of CMI (CAN Module Instrument) for Angle and Depth Measurement and Display and the latest CMX System for the Logging and Display of Angles, Depth and a wide range of MWD (Measure While Drilling) parameters, are available to cover the majority of drilling applications in both surface and underground mines.

CMI and CMX are modular systems that allow for the interchangeability of components with other types of CMI/CMX systems, the ability to add extra sensors and features as required and the flexibility to customise units to suit specific applications.

Local support for Transtronic instruments is available in terms of installation, training, spare parts and repairs to malfunctioning components through Ostaline in Sydney and our resellers om Perth and Kalgoorlie.

In a strategic alliance with Position Partners Pty Ltd, Transtronic’s CMI and CMX systems can be upgraded to a Carlson GNSS Drill Hole Navigation System (please enquire).
